LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE
WHAT IS LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE?
Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique designed to encourage the movement of lymph fluid through the body’s lymphatic system. The lymphatic system helps remove waste products, excess fluid, toxins, and supports immune function. Unlike deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage uses very light pressure and repetitive strokes directed toward lymph nodes to promote circulation of lymph fluid. This technique was originally developed to help manage swelling conditions such as lymphedema, but it is now also commonly used in post-surgical recovery, wellness settings, and supportive care for certain medical conditions.
Your 90 minute session will include a head-to-toe lymphatic pumping protocol, a caster oil pack on the abdomen, followed by reflexology relevant to lymph movement and massage of the abdomen.
