I am originally from Chesterfield, VA. I currently life in Frederick, MD with my husband, our two sons, and golden retriever. It was early in life that I fell into the “health care” field. Due to a life altering accident with my brother when I was 13, I fell into physical therapy assisting him on a daily basis for several months. The therapist coming to the house and allowing me to assist, really brought out my love for helping others, especially during life changing events. 

 

While I attended Shenandoah University, I majored in Exercise Science and played softball, so I always envisioned treating athletes when I graduated. I then went to become a Physical Therapist Assistant for 7 years. I always felt as if something was “missing” in my career. I always felt there was more that I could do to help a patient.

 

After my husband and I were blessed with our first son in 2019, I felt a huge calling to work with moms, babies, and children. I was unsure how to fulfill that calling in the way my heart wanted to, until I met Keri Smith. Our second son was born with torticollis, tongue tie, and lip ties. The second she laid hands on him, he relaxed for the first time in his short little life. A light bulb went off in my head. A few months after I met Keri, I took my first craniosacral class followed by visceral manipulation as well. I finally felt like I found the “missing piece” to my career. I recently completed school for massage therapy to further shift my career to what I am most passionate about. The skills learned from craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation have been so impactful, as I am able to treat all ages with varying needs. I would love to share my skills with you and to positively impact you and your loved one’s day to day life as my children are a walking testimony to our great work here.
